This fly – in safari covers some of the most appealing and amazing Parks in Kenya over the course of

your 8 days safari. Guests are treated to the Kilimanjaro-boasting Amboseli National Park – overflowing with elephants, giraffe, cheetah, zebra, and wildebeest.

Then proceed northward to Samburu game reserve which is famous for its five particular animals that are only found north of the equator – the long necked gerenuk, the reticulated giraffe which is characterized by its liver-colored geometric patches defined by narrow white lines, the Grevy’s zebra which is smaller than the common zebra and looks more like a horse, the beisa oryx with black horizontal stripe running across its lower flank and the Somali ostrich males which have blue-grey necks and thighs.

Last but not least,  we visit the Masai Mara – Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well spread rainfall year round.

The sensation of the great wildebeest migration between July and October is unparalleled. The wildlife is far from being confined within the Reserve boundaries and an even larger area extends beyond the game Reserve.

Day 1
Arrive Nairobi

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport a Gotrip Africa Representative will meet you and transfer you to your city hotel for overnight. Dinner and overnight at Nairobi Serena hotel or similar.

Day 2
Fly from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park.

Breakfast at your City Hotel and transfer to the Wilson airport to catch your flight to Amboseli National Park after breakfast at your city hotel.

On arrival at the Amboseli, Experience your first game drive en-route to your lodge.

This Park shelters more than 420 species of birds and has enormous Elephant population and other big game attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Lunch is served at the lodge, before departing for an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge and enjoy a scrumptious dinner.

Day 3
Explore Amboseli National Park

We rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, and set off for a morning game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons.

Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another game drive in the afternoon.

Day 4
From Amboseli fly Back to Nairobi to connect to your Samburu Flight

Breakfast, then transfer to the Amboseli airstrip to catch your flight back to Nairobi, on arrival, connect to your Samburu flight.

The name Samburu is of Maasai origin, a ‘samburr’ is a traditional leather bag the Masai use for carrying honey and milk. This region is characterized by vast, open landscapes, dried riverbeds (depending on the season of the year) and its red volcanic soil.

Rock outcroppings contrast against the dense woodland vegetation along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, the river that gives life to the reserve. The area is home to the Samburu tribe, who are ‘cousins’ to the Maasai people with their own distinct cultural traditions.

Arrive at the camp or lodge in time for lunch, followed by some leisure hours for a siesta or swim before you depart for an afternoon game viewing drive, and return back to the camp or lodge before sunset.

Day 5
Explore Samburu Game Reserve

This full day in the Samburu Game Reserve will be spent searching for the big five, the Samburu five and observing the vast unspoiled scenery during morning and afternoon game viewing drives.

The park is plentiful with crocodiles that bask on muddy riverbanks and velvet monkeys that frolic in the late afternoon sun. Samburu is renowned for its rare species of fauna known as the ‘Samburu five’. Day 6
Fly from Samburu Reserve to the Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Breakfast at your lodge and transfer to the Samburu airstrip to catch your one hour flight to the Masai Mara Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch.

Late afternoon game drive. During game viewing remember to keep a sharp lookout, you may witness a dramatic hunt; a solitary leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree or a herd of elephants protecting their young from predators.

The Mara is one of the richest wildlife spectacular scenery for the annual migration, the Masai Mara wildebeest migration is now considered to be one of the wonders of the world, especially as they cross the Mara River.

The reserve is also regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Game viewing is never dull in the Mara and patience is rewarded with unique sightings, such as a pride of lion stalking prey.

Day 7
Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives are planned. Large mammals are varied, abundant and easy to see.

Residents among the parks mammals are; Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Impala, Zebra, Topi, both the Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelles. Optional hot Air Balloon rides are available on this day at an additional cost.

Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge or Similar

Day 8: Masai Mara – Fly back to Nairobi

Breakfast will be served at the lodge, transfer to the airstrip to catch your flight back to Nairobi.

Arrive in good time for Souvenir shopping.

Depending on your International departure times, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
